Valencia Basket faces a bounce-back test vs. Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv

Valencia Basket men’s team returns to the Roig Arena to take on Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv on Thursday 15 October at 20:30 (Roig Arena, M+ Baloncesto) in a EuroLeague Round 6 matchup. The taronja side will be looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s defeat and secure a win that would allow them to remain on pace with the best starts in the club’s history in Europe’s premier competition.

With fans in the stands under a special access operation, Valencia Basket will once again count on the support of its home crowd as it looks to recover both physically and mentally ahead of its third game against EuroLeague opposition in a span of just five days.

The all-time series between these two teams in Valencia is very evenly balanced, although back-to-back wins in the Israeli club’s last two visits have tilted the head-to-head record slightly in the home side’s favour.

Xavi Albert’s men will need to take particular care of the basketball against an opponent that ranks among the best in the competition at punishing turnovers and owns the second-best two-point shooting percentage in the EuroLeague.

Valencia Basket will have its full roster available for this game. The taronja team currently sits second in the EuroLeague standings with a 4-1 record.
